Three Crosses Land Services runs forestry mulching and land clearing in Dunlap and across the Sequatchie Valley. A mini skid steer with a drum mulcher grinds standing brush, saplings, and small trees where they stand. What comes off goes back on the ground as mulch. There is no burn pile and nothing to truck away.
Valley property closes in fast. Pasture edges creep, and fence rows fill with privet and young hardwoods. A back field can go solid in a few seasons. We open that ground back up so you can mow it, fence it, or graze it again.
Dunlap is the Sequatchie County seat, about 25 miles from our base just north of Chattanooga. Highway 111 runs up and over Walden's Ridge to get there. We work farm tracts, wooded home sites, and residential lots across the county. Estimates are free, and you can call or text.

Dunlap sits on the floor of the Sequatchie Valley. The valley is narrow and long, cutting northeast to southwest through the Cumberland Plateau. Walden's Ridge walls it in on the east side. Fredonia Mountain rises more than a thousand feet above the floor just west of town.
That flat valley ground has been farmed a long time. Pasture and woodland make up most of the farm land in Sequatchie County. Cattle and hay ground are still common here. From Henson Gap on the west rim, most of what you see below is pasture and farm fields.
This is bush hogging country. A lot of local ground stays open with a rotary cutter once or twice a year. Ground that has gone past that has stems too thick for a cutter. Mulching knocks the heavy growth down so a bush hog can keep up again.
Most jobs here start with overgrowth. bush hogging and brush clearing handles fields, pastures, and lots that need cutting back to usable ground. The rotary cutter takes down tall grass, briars, and light brush in one pass. It is the right tool for keeping open land open.
When the growth is thicker, land clearing opens the ground for good. That covers overgrown acreage, wooded home sites, and lots nobody has touched in years. The mini skid steer fits through a standard fence gate. Tight drives and back lots are workable because of it.
Grown-up fence rows are their own job. fence line clearing cuts a clean edge for a new fence build. It also opens an old line so you can see and reach it. After trees come out, stump grinding takes stumps below grade so you can mow across the spot.
We are based just north of Chattanooga, on the other side of Walden's Ridge. Highway 111 climbs the ridge and drops into the valley at Dunlap, about half an hour out. From there, US 127 runs the length of town as Rankin Avenue. Sequatchie County sits well inside our normal service area.
Coverage runs the valley floor and the ridge sides around it. Lone Oak, Cagle, Daus, Fredonia, Mount Airy, and Cartwright are all in range. Brush Creek, Center Point, and ground up the mountain roads count too. The Sequatchie River forms the southeast edge of town, and we work property on either side of it.
We are a veteran-owned family business, licensed and insured. Our motto is Faith. Integrity. Service. Estimates are free. Call or text and tell us what the ground looks like and what you want to do with it.
